Living Culture acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders as the first Australians and recognise that they have a unique relationship with the land and water. We also recognise the Mornington Peninsula is home to the Boon Wurrung/Bunurong members of the Kulin Nation, who have lived here for thousands of years and who have traditional connections and responsibilities for the land we walk on.

We pay our respects to all Elders past & present.

After a 18 month collaboration with Headspace Frankston, we were delighted to open this Wellness/Reflective Space.

Living Culture addresses intergenerational trauma by sharing intergenerational wisdom to our people and our wider community.

We work with and for leading service providers to deliver these practices via individually tailored programmes and projects.

Including Headspace, Bunjilwarra, VACCA, Landcare, Mornington Peninsula Shire Council, Schools, and many public and private businesses.

We are proud to be able to provide a doorway for all Australians to connect, engage and learn from our rich indigenous culture.

Our team doesn't have a fancy office or overheads.  But we do have passion, community and the capacity to build.

Support is needed to employ our administration, data management, and community support worker a modest part-time wage.

Recruit, train and employ additional indigenous guides and presenters.

Your support is needed to continue to implement and develop programmes to further our work keeping our culture alive and contemporary.

Please click here to view our volunteer form and find out how you can help

By donating time, skills and/or money you will help to enrich our community enabling us to engage by educating different areas of our society and reaching out to the indigenous communities
